When I wrote A COLD DARK PLACE, my then agent was a little wary. This was back in 2013, and things were moving at lightning speed in indie publishing and at the usual molasses pace in traditional publishing.
A hero who ki!!ed people? That was a little on the edge.
I like to think of Alex Parker as one of the OG morally gray heroes, and one who we can’t help loving regardless of how deadly he is.
I’ve kind of missed that side of Alex.
Maybe he’ll return? What do you think?
